Donna Vivino – Singer and Acting

A Fair Lawn NJ native, Donna Vivino is thrilled to join the Piano Workshop. As a singer and actress Donna was most recently seen performing the role of Elphaba on Broadway in “Wicked” and opposite Wayne Brady in Michael Arden’s “Merrily We Roll Along ” in Los Angeles where she won a Robby Award for Best Actress in a Musical.
She has also appeared on Broadway in “Hairspray”, “Saturday Night Fever”, “Fame Becomes Me” (opposite Martin Short) and was the original Young Cosette in “Les Miserables”. ) Donna performs in many solo concerts around the world. As a teacher, she has taught voice and acting for many students of all ages in the NY/NJ area. She has a BA from Barnard College of NYC in English and with a concentration in Music and Theatre. She was also a student of the Columbia University vocal program in conjunction with Manhattan School of Music and The Juilliard School.
